Antonius is an academic and aspiring solicitor. Antonius holds a Ph.D. from the University of Hull, for a thesis in foreign investment law, which focused on investor-state arbitration. He also holds an LLM in International Business Law, an LLB (hons) degree from the University of Hull and is currently a candidate for a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Wales. Antonius has written several peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters on various areas of international economic governance. His main area of research involves the manner in which developing countries participate in international economic law and governance. His research focuses largely on developing countries’ participation in foreign investment law. Antonius is a former Research Advisor to the British Virgin Islands International Arbitration Centre (BVI IAC) and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
