Kathleen Ruane Leedy

Imagine a world where conflict is transformed into understanding, disputes give way to collaborative solutions, and the pain of disagreement is replaced by the promise of peace. This vision fuels my work as a mediator.

  2. Kathleen Ruane Leedy

Kathleen Ruane Leedy has been mediating for fourteen years in both court and private practice. She began mediating in 2009 after training with Brigadier General, Chief Judge (IMA) of the United States Army Court of Criminal Appeals, Commanding General of the NATO Rule of Law Support Mission/Rule of Law Field Forces, Chief Judge of the United States Army Court of Criminal Appeals, the Fulton County Superior Court Chief Judge, and the Chief Judge of the Atlanta Judicial Circuit at the Justice Center of Atlanta Mediation Training. Following this training, she was invited to continue mediating in Superior Court but declined as she was moving back to Massachusetts.

Upon returning to Massachusetts, Leedy mediated alongside assigned Magistrate Judges and Judges in Small Claims, Landlord-Tenant, and Family Court. She worked with several judges, including Chief Justice John D. Casey, Judges James V. Menno, Jennifer M. Ulwick, and Susan L. Jacobs, among others—seven judges in total—mediating two to three days a week for two years.
