Jessica is the former Senior Advisor Mediation Practice in the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment and the Department of Building and Housing in New Zealand, and she has held roles as a mediator and trainer in public, private and not-for-profit sectors with experience in a range of commercial and community matters.  She has extensive experience of mediation, negotiation and facilitation in New Zealand, Australia, the US and the Asia-Pacific region and significant experience in negotiation, crisis situations and system design for the early resolution of conflict.

Jessica liaises with mediation practitioners worldwide to share research and new learnings and contribute to workshops, conferences and current developments in mediation.  Jessica is a mentor and coach for professional practitioners and students and a coach for law students in national and international competitions.

Jessica has presented numerous mediation courses and developed a range of conference papers on emerging themes for mediation practitioners.  She presented papers on raising mediator quality at an Asia-Pacific Mediation Forum in Kuala Lumpur and at an American Bar Association Conference in New York. 

Jessica is a graduate of the UWS School of Law in Sydney, Australia and received her training in mediation and negotiation at Harvard Law School.
